Burst pipe cuts off water for more than 18 hours

People living in Stow-on-the-Wold say they have had no water since Monday lunchtime due to a burst water pipe.

Thames Water had to re-route water supplies due to a pipe which had burst near Lower Swell Road.

The repair was completed on Tuesday morning but the provider said it "may take some time for the pressure to build up".

Full water pressure was expected to be restored within a few hours.
